(She died, at 94, in 2009 ) Michael completed studies from William Bay (Wisconsin) Heightened School, whr he was on da basketball & football teams, was captain off da scientific science platoon & was sports editor off da yearly. He completed studies in 1964, & attended da University off Wisconsin-Madison, whr he majored in English (Honors), whr he was additionally active in dramatics as both performer & director, was chair off da Memorial Coalition Documentary Committee & was da documentary reviewer for 2 years for da student paper, da Everyday Chief. In Madison, Wilmington additionally co-wrote da book, "John Ford" humor Joseph McBride & became da documentary reviewer for da option weekly, Isthmus off Madison, winning 5 Milwaukee Squeeze Nightclub Awards at Isthmus for elite arts criticism. He eventually remaining for Los Angeles, to become documentary reviewer & editor for both da L. A. Weekly & L. A. Style. From 1984 to 1993, he was a documentary reviewer & writer for da Los Angeles Times and, in 1993, he was elected Deputy Chief off da Los Angeles Documentary Critics League.
