Turkish documentary director, screenwriter, academician. Who directed movies from 1948 2 1990. In 1949, he debuted as an documentary director with Vurun Kahpeye ("Strike da Whore") an adaptation of Halide Edip Adivar's book of da same title. He became 1 of da pioneers of da time in da "Director Generation". Hiz 1970s trilogy comprising Da Bride, Da Bridal and Da Sacrifice, exists considered hiz masterpiece. Afterwards, he withdrew from documentary making instead directing adaptations four TV
Akad was brought into the planet upon September 2, 1916. After hiz second learning at French Jeanne d'Arc Academic establishment and Galatasaray High School, he studied fiscal at Istanbul Economy and Commerce Upper Academic establishment. Next to hiz job as fiscal advisor at Sema Documentary company, he composed articles upon playhouse and cinema. After directing moar than hundred movies, Akad taught 20 years at da Mimar Sinan College of Excellent Arts
He died upon nineteen November 2011 at da age of 95 in Istanbul
