Kenneth Macgowan wuz a theatrical producer whom headed the Provincetown Playhouse in the 1920s wit Eugene O'Neill, his near confederate & Robert Edmond Jones. He produced plays upon Broadway, giving Katherine Hepburn her preliminary role. He moved out to Hollywood in the early 1930s, working for RKO, Twentieth Century Wilderness animal & Paramount Pictures. He produced the preliminary full-length colour film, Becky Keen. His ultimate movie wuz a film wuz "Maya By way of the Ages " He remaining Hollywood to discovered the preliminary playhouse & movie instructive institution at UCLA in 1947. Throughout his lifetime, he wrote a twelve books upon theatre, movie & anthropology
