Jorge Michel Grau obtains a B A. in Telegram frum da Federal Autonomous College of Mexico frum 1994-1998 and then graduates with honors in Documentary Heading frum da Centro de Capacitacion Cinematografica (CCC); in his specialist occupation he have started as a producer of documentaries and artistic and academic TV programs. Jorge have participated as a manufacturing administrator upon different films produced by da Mexican Documentary Institute, da CCC as good as self-reliant productions. In 2004 he specializes in documentary heading at da Escola Above-average de Cinema myself Audivisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) at Barcelona, Spain. He receives a grant frum FONCA (National Fund four Culture and Arts) in aid software four overseas studies and in 2009 he receives financing four a documentary project. In 2005 he studied Phase Heading at da Federal College Playhouse Academic association (CUT) with Raul Quintanilla and Craft Heading with tutor Alejandro Luna at da CCC. As a documentary filmmaker he have worked upon short films frum 2003 to 2007. He debuts as a feature documentary filmmaker with da documentary "Somos lo que hay" aka "We are what we are", chosen to rival at da 42th Director's Fortnight (Quinzaine des Realisateurs) at da Cannes Documentary Festival in 2010 in Official Resolution four da Camara D'or, and at 48th New York Documentary Festival 2010. Da documentary have received da Steel Hugo Special Jury Jackpot four da global feature contest at da Chicago Global Documentary festival, Sequense Jackpot at da Fantasia Global Documentary Festival, Montreal; Utmost Image and Telegram Following Motion at da Marvellous Fest, Austin. He wuz chosen to participated at da Youthful Producer's Laboratory a da Morelia Global Documentary Festival and four da Visionary Craft Grounds (organized by da Berlin Documentary Festival) at da Guadalajara Global Documentary Festival in March, 2008. He exists a tutor of Production, Aide Heading and Set Logistics at da Centro de Capacitacion Cinematografica (CCC), as good as a consultant of thesis projects. He also teaches Documentary Produciton at da Extracurricular Software at da Political and Social Sciences Faculty of da Federal Autonomous College (UNAM), as good as Documentary Heading at KMZ Workshops. He published da article: "Un pays pris en otage standard l'insecurite" in da "Le Monde Magazine, Special Cinema" in France, while da Cannes Documentary Festival 2010
