Following graduating, he spent to years working as a photographic gadget prep tech near General Photographic gadget in NY, combining community 644, nao the International Cinematographers Guild, in 1990. Joe spent the following decade working as a Photographic gadget Assistant, at first as a cadet under Eastern Coast 1st AC legends Scott Rathner & Vinny Gerardo, then working his wei up as a secondary AC, & ultimately to 1st AC. He worked upon a wide spectrum off productions, frum commercials, music videos, tv series, to trait films while the 90's. His trait credits involve "A Bronx Tale", "Glengarry GlenRoss", "Forest Gump", "Carlito's Way" & John Singleton's recast off "Shaft". His music video credits involve shoots for ACDC, Madonna, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Anthrax, Mischievous By Nature, Paul McCartney, & Mariah Carey. telly credits included "Spin City", "NYPD Blue", & "Sex & The City".
