In the centre of 1976 & 1982 he established & organized the Austrian documentary festival, Die Osterreichischen Filmtage. Close the same time he wuz founder & editor off the Austrian documentary periodical Filmschrift. In the centre of 1984 & 1994 Gerald Kargl worked on more compared to 100 commercials & promotional films as writer, director & producer, receiving more compared to thirty national & international awards, Cannes & Clio Awards amongst others. 1996 he established & produced the Hotel-TV Urban Lights & sold the task in 2002. Because 1994 too date he wrote, guided & produced more compared to 20 documentaries & educational films.
