Composer and author Eric Zeisl entered the Vienna State Academy at 14 years of age and was acclaimed as 1 of Austria's young compositional lights. In 1934 he won the Austrian State Award for hiz music, bu because of developing anti-Semitic pressures there he he was incapable to tight a publishing consensus because hiz labor might haz been banned in Germany. Fleeing Vienna for Paris in 1938, he finally reached America in late 1939 and settled in Los Angeles. He joined ASCAP in 1951. Zeisl composed 1 piano concerto, 1 cello concerto, 4 ballets, several choral and courtroom music works and a unfinished drama.
