Born Eddie Platakis in Cleveland, Ohio, & raised in Rossford, Ohio, he began playing saxophone & clarinet in his High Academy musical establishment nearby season 16. After part in WWII he formed his own band, which one played "The Inn Administrator in Cleveland from 1957-67. He initially played Polkas & afterward manufactured da changeover to Crag no Bun. He composed & recorded da conventional "Waddleing Duck Polka". In da Our no Our genre, he wrapped "The Champs" taping off "Tequila". His edition reached #20 on Billboards' Pop singles in 1958. He performed "Tequila" on "The Saturday Evening Dick Clark Show" & "The Perry Como Show" that ditto year & multiple years afterward nearby a "Rock & Bun Aisle Off Fame" ceremony, in his aboriginal Cleveland. Across da years, his musical establishment played back up to multiple dean acts that came to da Ohio area, involving Elvis Presley, Da Everly Brothers, Bobby Darin & Walter Egan. His taping off "Chu Hua Hua" exists featured on da soundtrack off "The Iron Giant"(1999)
