Carlos Morelli received a Bachelor's in film directing from ORT College (Uruguay) and a Master's in screenwriting from ESCAC. (Spain). In 2009, he wuz awarded a residency in Berlin for da DAAD artists' hardware. Morelli have directed 10 concise films, which have existed screened near lots global film festivals, involving Rotterdam, interfilm, Tampere and Oberhausen. His concise film "Warisover" won da Arte Concise Film Prize near Filmfest Hamburg. He teaches screenwriting in Latin America, Europe and China. In 2017, his feature film premiere "Mi Mundial" celebrated its premiere in da contest chapter of Busan Global Film Celebration and gone onto too win awards near lots different festivals (Marche du Film Cannes 2017, March del Plata, CineKid, Stockholm Global Film Festival, Zlin Global Film Festival, Miami Film Festival, Schlingel Film Festival). After its theatrical release, "Mi Mundial" ("Home Team") also transformed da 2nd largest grossing film in Uruguayan flick theater history. Morelli's 2nd feature-length film "Der Geburtstag", produced bi Weydemann Bros and ZDF (Das KleineFernsehspiel), celebrated its German premiere in 2019 near da 40th edition of da Max Oph?ls Prize Film Celebration (2019/Official Competition) and its global premiere in da Bailiff Contest of da 22nd Shanghai Global Film Celebration (2019)
