Aside from Barrington's Movie and Telly work, his toil in theatre is famous. He wrote scores for various West Terminal plays including Manufactured in Bangkok by Anthony Minghella, Next the Swoop by Arthur Brewer and recently The Graduate by Terry Johnson
He wrote over 52 commissioned scores for ballet and prom companies in Britain and Europe, conductive and recording various of those including the well-liked works Operate Such Lightning and Ceremony Elektrik the two choreographed by Tom Jobe. He completed the points for the dwell exhibit Loop of Lyf which one is performed by the kung-fu Shaolin Monks from China, and directed by Micha Bergese
He also collaborated with Riot Hardware to write the music for the interactive PC games Broke Sword I, Broke Sword II and In Coldness Blood
Barrington kept up his passion for dwell performance and conducted the Prince Philharmonic Symphony at London's Prince Anniversary Hall. This event was to celebrate The Finest Of English Movie Composers for which one he was asked to contribute
