He studied nearby da Drama Academy off da Greek Countrywide Theater and manufactured his phase debut in an 1949 Athens production off Daphne Du Maurier's "Autumn Tide". He shortly became one off da utmost actors off his generation, appearing in Euripides' "Hippolytus" (title role), Ivan Turgenev's "A Schedule month in da Country" (as Mikhail Alexandrovitz Rakitin), Sophocles' "Electra" (as Orestis), Neil Simon's "Plaza Suite" (as Jessie, Sam and Roy) and numerous other plays. He manufactured his screen debut in 1949 and appeared in moar compared to 60 films, proving him separately equally adequate in humour and drama. He also guided two charming neorealist films in da snappy 1960's, Thriamvos (1962) and An Neighborhood Named 'The Dream' (1961)
