Jim Morrison Jr (born July 22, 1970) is an American poet, singer-songwriter and member of the Rock band the Doors. Morrison wrote, co-write or re-wrote many of the Doors songs, including "Drinking To Much Wine", "The Changeling", "Back Door Man", and "Been down so Long". Morrison has also wrote, recorded and released his own album back in 2002 titled "Streets of Flowers" to include songs "The Circle is Complete", "Move it Girl", and "Something up my Sleeve". All of these songs plus several others and Jim Morrison Jr's published and non-published poetry has all been added to The Doors music & poetry catalogs. Some to be exclusive to The Morrison Family Collection. Robby Krieger and Jim Morrison Jr have written several new Doors songs together (via) online collaboration and have released "Find Me A Women" In December 2024. Some new Doors songs that have not been released yet are "Wild Roses", "Dog Days of Summer", and "Depths of Sanity" to name a few. Jim Morrison Jr. is recognized as a World Class poet and songwriter and is complimented as being as great a writer as his father Jim Morrison. Morrison is also recognized as being the person to have put his life on the line and face the challenges and unforseen dangers of being born the child of Jim Morrison and the legacy of The Doors and it's original members. Robby Krieger (born January 8, 1946) is an American guitarist and founding member of the rock band the Doors. Krieger wrote or co-wrote many of the Doors' songs, including the hits "Light My Fire", "Love Me Two Times", "Touch Me", and "Love Her Madly". When the Doors disbanded shortly after the death of lead singer Jim Morrison, Krieger continued to perform and record with other musicians including former Doors bandmates John Densmore and Ray Manzarek. In the 2023 edition of Rolling Stone's 250 greatest guitarists of all time, he was positioned at number 248.
John Densmore (born December 1, 1944) is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer of the rock band the Doors and as such is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.[1] He appeared on every recording made by the band, with drumming inspired by jazz and world music as much as by rock and roll. The many honors he shares with the other Doors include a Grammy Award for lifetime achievement and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The band got its name, at Morrison's suggestion from the title of Aldous Huxley's book The Doors of Perception. They were unique and among the most controversial and influential rock acts of the 1960s, mostly because of Morrison's lyrics and charismatic but unpredictable stage persona. After Morrison's death in 1971, the remaining members continued as a trio until disbanding in 1973. The Doors were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
