Jim Rigsby is an American actor and professional photographer, known for The Last Movie Star (2017), Snapped: Killer Couples (2013), Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda (2011), and Karma: The Price of Vengeance (2019).Jim was born in Johnson City, Tn on September 9, 1963 to Jim and Gisela Rigsby. His mom is German descent and his dad an American. Jim spent some of his very early childhood in Augsburg, Germany, but was mostly raised, along with his younger brother and sister, in his hometown of Johnson City. His love for the outdoors led him to become a photographer while in college. A hobby that took him from landscape photography into the fashion world. He has led international photography workshops through Iceland and Ireland and his work has been published in several magazines and publications.His acting career began when he was discovered by a talent agent during a model shoot and asked to submit for a role in Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda (2011). He was cast for the role as a detective and found he enjoyed being in front of the camera as much as he enjoyed being behind it. Since then he has worked in several television series on NBC, Oxygen, and Investigation Discovery. He has also had roles in a several feature films, independent films, and commercials.
